rethren, I’ve enjoyed a very restful and refreshing summer and, I trust, you have as well. Now, we need to resume our Labors.

As you can see fom the Trestlboard, we will be jumping right back into degree work with a Special Communication on September 23rdto confer the Fellow Craft Degree. We are anticipating a full compliment of five candidates for this work. Note that our annual service at Bonnie Blink will take place BEFORE our regular communication on September 20th. The service will be held for the residents commencing at 3 PM. Please plan on supporting this event.  Remember that in our Work, we are admonished to, “Be not slow to visit the sick, for that shall make thee to be beloved”.

Other items of interest include Harvest Home Day on October 2nd. This is always a very pleasant morning  at the Grand Lodge. I encourage all of you to attend, enjoy great sausages and even better fraternalism. Additionally, please continue to support your SW, Chris Goettge, as he continues to advance to the Oriental Chair. I am also pleased to report that the top two stories of windows facing Conduit Street received much needed painting, glazing and caulking during the summer. This is consistent with our on going program of maintaining and improving our fine old Lodge.

My Brethren, I look forward to the resumption of our Work and continuing my Labors with each of you.

Fraternally,
Randy Disney, Worshipful Master
